According to Sports Chosun coverage, CEO Min Kyung-sam decided to step down from his position as CEO of SSG Landers on the 29th.
CEO Min started as a player and served as a coach, operation team leader, general manager, and CEO.
After graduating from Shinil High School and Korea University, he made his professional debut at MBC Blue Dragon in 1986 and played in 562 games until retiring from the LG Twins in 1992, recording a batting average of 217, six home runs and 94 RBIs. After retirement, he served as an LG manager and coached the LG Twins since 1997, taking over the first- and second-tier defense parts.
CEO Min, who served as a coach at LG until 2000, began his front life in 2002 when he was appointed as the head of the SK Wyverns operation team. He served as the head of the operation team from 2002 to 2005, served as the head of the management support team in 2006, and as the head of the operation division from 2007 to 2009. CEO Min, who was recognized for his administrative power, was appointed as the head of the team and led the team from 2010 to 2016.
While CEO Min was at the front desk, SK had its heyday. He has succeeded in advancing to the Korean Series seven times, of which he won the combined championship in 2007 and 2008 and 2010, opening the era of 'SK dynasty'.
