An official letter from the Badminton Korea Association to the provincial associations to hold an extraordinary general meeting of representatives.

It has been revealed that the Korea Badminton Association has begun work to remove the executives of 'opposition to Chairman Kim Taek-gyu'.

In the official document, the association announced that the agenda for the submission is 'No confidence of the association' in accordance with Article 8, Paragraph 2, Article 2 (when more than one-third of the registered representatives present the purpose of the meeting and demand a convocation). The general meeting will be held at 1:30 p.m. on the 11th in the conference room of the badminton stadium in Miryang, Gyeongsangnam-do.

The general meeting of delegates consists of a total of 21 members, including the heads or representatives of four affiliated federations (elementary, middle and high schools, universities, and businesses) and 17 metropolitan and provincial associations. Director Cha is the only one of the 14 people who participated in the announcement of the board of directors' statement on September 22 to testify about the problems of Chairman Kim and the association by being called as a reference to the National Assembly's pending questions (September 24).

Article 8 (4) of the Articles of Incorporation (Callation of the General Assembly) stipulates that the agenda, date, and place must be recorded and notified 'clearly', but the official document of the convocation of the General Assembly only states 'No confidence of the association's executives' and there was no explanation for the reason for the non-confidence. An attendance request sent to the six dismissed persons should be given an opportunity to call along with the introduction of the same agendaIn accordance with the regulations, only the contents of 'Please attend the extraordinary general meeting and explain the relevant contents' are included.

Accordingly, executives who have been notified of their dismissal are asked to clarify what 'related content'. It was confirmed that the association demanded an answer by the 7th, complaining that "'Explain clearly' which regulations it violated to speak out about the association's various insolvency.

It is pointed out that the timing and location of the extraordinary general meeting are also inappropriate. Miryang Stadium is a venue for the 105th National Sports Festival badminton, and the semi-finals of the men's and women's high school, university, and general teams will be held sequentially from the morning of the 11th. The opening time of the general meeting (1:30 p.m.) overlaps with the university division semifinals (1:00 p.m.). "Will 'adults' do it to show the 'mud fight' inside the association in a solemn place where young athletes participate in the National Sports Festival?" The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's investigation is underway ahead of the final announcement, and complaints have also erupted that `who is condemning whom.'
