Four-day '2024 Youth Yang-gu High School First Year Soccer Festival' and 6th 'Sungryu'

The '2024 Youth Yanggu High School First-Year Soccer Festival' was successfully completed at Yanggu Sports Complex and Yanggu B Stadium on the 6th.

Until the last 4th day of the game, all players played their best, and the Gyeonggi Insi Football Center U-18 Deokyoung showed strong performance with a victory. Thanks to the best sports facilities in Yanggu, Park Soo-eun of the Gyeonggi In-si Football Center, who won the game with a fantastic score, said, "Thanks to the best sports facilities in Yanggu, we were able to record the victory with good performance" expressed satisfaction with the festival.

The festival, which prioritized the performance of first-year high school soccer players and the provision of opportunities to participate, has no separate performance calculation and awards, but it was operated to motivate many players by awarding two-ball gift certificates to the scorers after 30 minutes in the first half.

Taking advantage of the purpose of the festival, various prize events and events were held in addition to the game, such as 'Guess Juliet's golden crossbar' and'Spotizer Experience Zone'. A total of 1 million won in prize tickets collected during the festival will be donated to Yanggu-gun social welfare organizations.

The competition was jointly hosted by the Yanggu-gun Football Association and Ribbon Corporation Lab, and was jointly organized and operated by the Gangwon-do Football Association. In addition, Yanggu-gun, Yanggu-gun Sports Foundation, Yanggu-gun Sports Council, Gangwon-do Special Self-Governing Football Association, Shinseong Delta Tech, Sportizer, Jangsu Ogolgye, D-FitFC Football Academy, and Juliet sponsored the competition, allowing the festival to proceed successfully.

Yoon Jong-seok, the coach of Janghoon High School, who participated in the festival as the chairman of the Korea Football Association's High Subcommittee, said "The first high school festival held in Yanggu was fresh and had a good atmosphere, so players, leaders, and parents all finished it with satisfaction." Win or lose, playing on the natural turf itself is the best gift for first-year high school players. The festival will be of great help in improving the athletic experience and skills of growing players, and we will collect opinions from the field so that the festival can continue to develop in the future.
