The Korea University Baseball Federation (KUBF) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Sports2I to introduce an automatic ball determination system (ABS).

At 4 p.m. on the 15th, the two sides signed an agreement to apply various K-sports technology infrastructures, including ABS, for the development of university baseball in the conference room on the 6th floor of the Tui Center. Through this, university baseball is expected to increase its competitiveness by building a professional and advanced infrastructure.

The core of this MOU is to incorporate technology-based contents such as ABS (Automatic Ball-Strike), DB computerization, analysis solutions, and online relay system into university baseball.

In particular, it is expected that ABS systems will be installed at Miryang Sunshine Sports Park and Boeun Baseball Stadium, the main venues for the university baseball tournament, to improve the fairness and accuracy of the decision and provide players with an advanced and professional-level game environment to further enhance the competitiveness of university baseball.

In addition, Sports2I plans to establish a big data system for college baseball by systematically computerizing the records of college baseball games through cooperation with KUBF.

The big data conversion of college baseball expands to new content by converting it with Sports2I's independent AI and tracking technology.
