Hong Myung-bo will play the Palestinian match in Amman, Jordan next month.
The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) announced on the 18th (Korea time) that South Korea and Palestine will play Group B 6 of the third Asian qualifying round for the 2026 North-China World Cup at the Amman International Stadium in Jordan on November 19, not Palestine.
The Palestinians were eventually disenfranchised from hosting their home games as the war between Hamas and Israel continued. For the same reason, the Palestinians played the second round of the preliminary round against Jordan last month in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and the fourth round of the preliminary round against Kuwait on the 16th in Doha, Qatar.
As a result, South Korea will visit Amman International Stadium again about a month after the third qualifying match against Jordan on the 10th. South Korea beat Jordan 2-0 with consecutive goals by Lee Jae-sung (Mines) and Oh Hyun-kyu (Henk).

South Korea will play its fifth preliminary match at Jabeur Al-Ahmad International Stadium in Kuwait City, Kuwait, on Nov. 14 before traveling for about two and a half hours to play against the Palestinians in Jordan.
Hong Myung-bo has won three consecutive games from the match against Oman (3-1 wins) to Jordan and Iraq (3-2 wins), leading Group B with three wins, one draw and 10 points. It is three points behind Jordan and Iraq (seven points or more), which are in second place. Kuwait ranks fifth in the group with three draws and one loss, and Palestine ranks sixth in the group with two draws and two losses.
If they win both A matches in November, they can virtually confirm their advance to the World Cup finals.
After successfully completing two straight A matches in October, Hong immediately moved to Europe to inspect overseas players and discover new faces.
