Heo Mi-mi's younger brother, Heo Mio (Gyeongbuk Sports Council), who has emerged as a sign of Korean women's judo, won a valuable medal at the World Youth Championships.

Hermio advanced to the semifinals of the women's 52kg class at the World Youth Judo Championships held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan on the 2nd (Korea time).

However, after losing a match against Japan's Nosho Senju in the semi-finals, Hermio won a valuable bronze medal in the bronze medal match against Azerbaijan's Aidan Baliyeva, winning half the game.

Hur Mi-mi, who won a silver medal by advancing to the women's 57kg judo final at the Paris Olympics, has emerged as a leading Korean female judo player. Heo Mio is such a younger brother of Heo Mi-mi, and the two are Korean-Japanese. Although he grew up in Japan, his late grandmother's will led him to play in Korea, and in the process, he was found to be the fifth generation of independence activist Heo Seok, drawing attention.
