LG took the lead with two home runs in the top of the second inning in Game 4 of the semi-playoff against KT Wiz at KT Wiz Park in Suwon on the 9th.
LG attack in the top of the second inning when the score was tied 0-0. KT's starting pitcher was William Cuevas, who took the mound after a break on the 6th. Cuevas took six days off after pitching in the first game of the wild card game against the Doosan Bears on the 2nd and played in the fourth game of the day.
In the order of starting, Cuevas should have played in Game 3 and Wes Benjamin in Game 4, but head coach Lee Kang-chul gave a strong Benjamin to LG first and gave Cuevas more rest.
