The Bayer Leverkusen striker shocked soccer fans after a serious car accident in which his car was halved hours after scoring the winning goal in a weekend game.

German media, including the German daily Bild, reported on the 20th (local time) that a Mercedes Benz car carrying Nigeria's national team Boniface collided with a truck on its way to Frankfurt Airport.

The car bonnet was dented to the point where it was hard to recognize its shape, but Boniface reportedly suffered a minor hand injury.
