Jeonbuk U-15 Coach Ahn Jae-seok Appoints Youth Director
Jeonbuk Hyundai has appointed a youth director, who is in charge of managing the youth team.

On the 8th, Jeonbuk selected current U-15 coach Ahn Jae-seok as its new youth director as a person who will be responsible for establishing the operating philosophy of Jeonbuk U-18, 15, and 12 teams and fostering and discovering players. Director Ahn Jae-seok, who experienced all ages and professional leaders of Jeonbuk's youth team and has made many contributions from the early days of the Jeonbuk Youth Team to the present, was judged to be the best candidate.

In particular, director Ahn Jae-seok places importance on personality for young youth players, and the leader is considered not only the role of a coach, but also a leader who fosters players based on growth rather than performance in the attitude of an educator. Jeonbuk evaluated that director Ahn Jae-seok's philosophy of fostering the right youth is most in line with the direction the club wants to pursue.

Director Ahn Jae-seok chose his path as a leader and educator early after playing in Jeonbuk until 2001. With the establishment of the Jeonbuk Under-12 team in 2002, he coached the players with the operating philosophy of fostering players and correct character education for 11 years, and during this period, he obtained a doctorate in sports sociology from the university and constantly explored for young players.

After that, he founded the U-15 team in 2013, led the team as a coach, and moved to the U-18 team in 2015 to coach elementary, middle and high school players. In 2019, he gained experience by working as a coach on a professional team and then returned to coaching the U-15 team in 2023.

Ahn Jae-seok, the new youth director, said "I've been with Jeonbuk for about 25 years and have always been thinking about the development of our team's youth players. I am truly grateful that the club recognized this time of concern and inquiry in a good way. "I will do my best to make Jeonbuk become the best youth club in Asia after the professional team by making good use of the direction of the youth management philosophy that the club wants to go to."."

Meanwhile, youth director Ahn Jae-seok will also serve as head coach of the U-15 team until this year.
