The K-League Asian Youth Championship Jeju 2024, where youth clubs affiliated with K-League clubs and youth clubs from prestigious Asian clubs meet, will be held in Seogwipo, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province from the 21st to the 26th.

Hosted by the Korean Professional Football Federation, 'Asian Youth Championship' is a competition co-hosted by the Professional Federation and Jeju United and sponsored by Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. Following the 'K League International Youth Cup Incheon 2024' held last month, the Professional Federation is also holding an international youth competition this time to promote international exchanges between K-League youth players.

A total of eight teams will participate in the tournament, including three K-League Youth teams (Jeju United, Ulsan HD, Pohang Steelers), four overseas teams including Roaso Kumamoto, Mito Holyhawk (Japan), PVF Academy (Vietnam), and Western United (Australia), and Jeju First High School, a regional team in Jeju.

The age of participation in the competition is U-17 (born after January 1, 2007 and under 17). The tournament will be divided into groups A and B of four teams, and the group stage will be played, followed by the tournament and the final. In Group A, Jeju, Pohang, Mito Holyhawk, and PVF academies were located. In Group B, Jeju Jeil High School, Ulsan, Roaso Kumamoto and Western United will compete.

The group stage and tournament will be held at the Jeju Nomination Po Training Center, and the final match will be held at Kang Chang-hak Stadium on the 26th. The professional federation plans to strengthen the competitiveness of young players through the continuous experience of K-League youth players in international competitions and increase their contact points with advanced overseas leagues.
