KLPGA Lee Se-hee tied for 24th on the first day of the U.S. LPGA Q-Series

Lee Se-hee, who is challenging the LPGA (American Women's Professional Golf) Tour, tied for 24th on the first day of the Q-series.

Lee Se-hee tied for 24th with three birdies and two bogeys in the first round of the tournament at Plantation Golf and Country Club Panther Course (par 72) in Venice, Florida on the 23rd (Korea time).

Lee Se-hee, who started the in-course, got off to a shaky start, only seeing at the first hole (par 4). However, he later rebounded the trend by recording two birdies. He lost the stroke with a second-half bogey, but ended the day in a good mood by scoring a birdie on the last par-5 hole.



Lee Se-hee participated in 19 KLPGA Tour tournaments this season and made 14 cuts. At the Korean Women's Open, she entered the top 10 in ninth place.

A total of 194 players will participate in the second round of the Q-Series, going back and forth between the Bobcat course and the Panther course, until the fourth round. If they enter the top 35, they can advance to the Q-Series Final, which will be held in December.



Among Korean players, Baek Ji-eun, who played on the LPGA Epson Tour, tied for third with a 4-under 68 and got off to the best start. SinB was tied for 24th with Lee Se-hee at 1 under par. Jeon Eun-soo tied for 97th with two over par.
