Ribbon Corporation Lab will recruit a domestic youth volleyball team to participate in the 2025 Sanix men's and women's elementary volleyball tournament to be held in Fukuoka Global Arena, Japan on the 31st" he said.
The competition, which will be held at Global Arena, a sports town in Fukuoka, Japan, will be held for the first time as an exchange game between male and female elementary school teams from both countries.
A total of 16 elementary teams will participate in the two-day competition on January 25 and 26, 2025, and Ribbon Corporation Lab, a domestic sports marketing company, will be in charge of recruiting domestic participating teams. It will be held for a total of four days, and will provide unforgettable memories to aspiring volleyball players with a training schedule on the first day, participation in the Sanix Cup volleyball tournament on the 2-3rd day, and a trip to Fukuoka on the 4th day
Unlike soccer and baseball, where international exchanges between youth players take place a lot, volleyball lacks a place for international exchange. In response, the Sanix Sports Promotion Foundation and Ribbon Corporation Lab plan to join hands to provide various opportunities for aspiring volleyball players and provide a trip to memories using the vacation period.
Kim Si-seung, the team leader of Ribbon Corporation Lab, who is in charge of the event, said "We hope that promising volleyball players will grow further by participating in international competitions, and we hope this will be a good opportunity to become a bridgehead for friendly exchanges between Korea and Japan."
