On the 10th, the Korea Sports Association submitted a public interest audit request to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) to the Board of Audit and Inspection.

The Korea Sports Council said on the 10th that Lee Ki-heung, chairman of the Korea Sports Council, gathered opinions on the request for a public interest audit by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for the correction of illegal and unfair sports affairs through a tour meeting of the local sports association from September to October and the 34th meeting of the board of directors and delegates on the 8th, and submitted a bill to the Board of Audit and Inspection today (10th)."

The public interest audit bill for the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism was submitted jointly with more than 60 member organizations, including 17 cities, sports associations, 228 cities, counties, and specific sports associations, the Korea Sports Association, the Korean Olympic Games, and the Korean National Leadership Council.

Regarding the request for a public interest audit, he explained, "We want to actively improve the areas to be improved through a neutral and balanced audit by the Board of Audit and Inspection, and to establish a future-oriented and developmental relationship between the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Sports Council through corrective action on areas that have hindered the development of the sports community due to excessive or unfair administrative measures by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism."
