Korea Sports Promotion Foundation to Host Training Invitational for Sports Officials in Developing Countries by November 1st, 13 countries participate, opportunities for international sports exchanges



The Seoul Olympic Memorial National Sports Promotion Foundation (Chairman Cho Hyun-jae) announced that it will conduct 'Invitation Training for Sports Officials from Developing Countries' and Next Generation Sports Administrators'.

The training, which runs from the 20th to the 1st of next month, is a new type of training program developed based on the Sports Administrator Curriculum (DTM) in developing countries that has been going on for more than a decade, and was designed to strengthen international sports cooperation and share Korea's sports development plans with 19 sports officials from 13 countries.

The training will also be held in conjunction with international events such as the use of sports AI and data, lectures on legal systems and organizations, and sports policies, major facilities of the Korea Sports Corporation such as the National Fitness 100 and KSPO Sports Value Center, a tour of the Icheon Sports Center for the Disabled to strengthen networking, the Seoul Olympic Legacy Forum and the Dream Together Seoul Forum. In particular, programs to experience the so-called K-culture, such as K-pop dance and Bukchon Village tourism, are also prepared, which is expected to attract the interest of participants.



Chairman Cho Hyun-jae, who delivered a commemorative plaque to the participants of the training on the 25th, said, `I hope this training will be a place to share Korea's experience in sports development and to be of practical help for the developing countries' sports development."We will maintain continuous sports cooperation with developing countries in the future."," he said.

On the other hand, participants hope that the training will reaffirm the value of cooperation through sports and serve as a springboard to contribute to the development of sports in their countries.
