The Korea Sports Promotion Foundation will host the Seoul Olympic Legacy Forum 2024

The Seoul Olympic Memorial National Sports Promotion Foundation will hold 'Seoul Olympic Legacy Forum 2024' for the sustainable development of Olympic heritage and sharing benefits.

The forum will be held under the theme of 「Sharing Benefits Together Through Olympic Legacy」. It will be held at the Olympic Parktel in Seoul for three days from the 22nd. A total of 400 people will attend the forum, including 40 officials from 31 organizations in 20 countries in the Asia-Pacific region, including the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the National Olympic Committee (NOC), and the Asian Paralympic Committee (APC), as well as officials from local governments and sports organizations in Korea.

Starting with the opening speech of Cho Hyun-jae, chairman of the corporation, and Oh Ji-cheol, chairman of the organizing committee of the Seoul Olympic Legacy Forum (former vice minister of culture, sports and tourism), the awards ceremony for the K-Sports ESG Alliance and the declaration ceremony of the Global Sports ESG will be held at the opening ceremony on the 22nd.

Various sessions will also be held to find answers to the theme of this forum. A total of five sessions will be held on the 22nd and 23rd under the themes of 'Olympic Movement and Benefits from the View of Future Generations',"Sustainable Olympic Legacy Platform', and"Olympics Performance and Propagation". It is expected to be a valuable time to get a glimpse of the world's thoughts on the Olympic legacy. In addition, during the three days of the forum, a domestic mega sports promotion and experience zone will be operated on the first floor of the Seoul Olympic Parktel. On the 23rd, Olympic legacy management entities from each country will gather to share their experiences and know-how and provide consulting.

On the 24th, the last day, the Seoul Olympic Legacy Tour and the K-Culture Tour will be held at Olympic Park for forum participants. Participants will be offered a variety of experiences to experience Korean culture, such as making Korean food, wearing hanbok, and viewing the night view of the Han River.
