Another great volleyball legend says his official goodbye to the court. It is Yeo Oh-hyun (46), who took off his uniform after the last season.
Yeo Oh-hyun will hold a retirement ceremony and say her final greetings to fans before the Hyundai Capital-Korean Air match in the first round of the Dodram 2024-2025 season at Yoo Gwan-soon Gymnasium in Cheonan on the 27th.
Hyundai Capital decided to see off the footsteps of legend through events such as watching a video commemorating Yeo Oh-hyun's retirement with fans and leaving a permanent handprint.
Yeo Oh-hyun, a native of Daejeon Jungang High School and Hongik University, debuted with Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance in 2000 and has been a long player for 24 years. He is the oldest player in Korean volleyball history (46).
He was a legendary libero who led the heyday by winning seven times at Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance. In particular, he was a housekeeper who led the defense from the back in the era of Gavin and Leo, while supporting the team with a stable two-stage connection as much as the main setter.

Even after moving to Hyundai Capital in 2013, he did not lose his skills and played as a mental support. Even after changing the uniform, he continued his heyday and added two wins by listing as a libero in the 2014-2015 season and the 2015-2016 season.
It was a blessed volleyball life that led the history of the two prestigious Korean volleyball teams. He already registered as a playing coach in 2015 and prepared for retirement, but Yeo Oh-hyun himself did not know that his coaching career would continue for 10 years.
Yeo Oh-hyun took off her uniform after last season and started anew as the head coach of IBK Industrial Bank. In the off-season, coach Yeo Oh-hyun was seen shouting loudly and leading the training at the Industrial Bank of Korea practice hall in Yongin. This is also meaningful as it is to assist Kim Ho-chul, the director of the Industrial Bank of Korea, who had a relationship with Hyundai Capital.
Not to mention in terms of records. He won the Libero Award for the third consecutive season (2005, 2005-2006, 2006-2007) and achieved commemorative milestones, including the first 5,000 defense and 10,000 in the men's V-League. The presence of 'Iron', which is a total of 625 games, is also unrivaled.
