KIA conducted its first training session in preparation for the Korean Series at Kia Champions Field in Gwangju on the afternoon of the 4th. A total of 54 players participated, including manager Lee Bum-ho and 19 coaching staff, 16 pitchers, 3 catchers, 9 infielders and 7 outfielders. During the training session, KIA started to adjust its condition by conducting wiming-up, defense-hitting training in turn.
Nail, who suffered a broken jaw after being hit by Matt Davidson's ball against the Changwon NC Dinos on August 24, was rushed to Seoul for emergency surgery. After that, he moved to a hospital designated by the Gwangju team and was hospitalized and discharged.

Whether Nail will start the Korean Series is still a question mark. If he joins the starting team, KIA's starting team, which had a lot of uncertainty besides Yang Hyun-jong and Eric Lauer, will receive great strength.
Infielder Yoon Do-hyun, who was active at the end of the regular season, also joined the training. Yoon Do-hyun had 11 hits, one home run and eight RBIs in the last six games of the pennant race. He also received a passing point in the defense movement, which had a question mark compared to the hit, igniting the competition to join the Korean Series.

After completing the first two-day training on the 4th and 5th, KIA will prepare for the first game of the Korean Series in Gwangju on the 21st with a break from training-1 on the 3rd. During the training period, they will hold practice matches with the Sangmu team on the 9th and the Futures team in the southern region on the 14th, and hold their own Cheongbaek match on the 16th.
