The Lotte Giants will face the NC Dinos at Changwon NC Park on the 1st.
All eyes are on the fifth-place match (tiebreaker) between SSG Landers and KT Wiz, but Lotte and NC are the final matches of the regular season. It is also the last regular season game for all 10 teams.
On this day, Lotte will play in the lineup of Reyes (designated hitter), Hwang Sung-bin (middle fielder), Son Ho-young (third base), Jeon Joon-woo (left fielder), Yoon Dong-hee (right fielder), Jung Hoon (first base), Park Seung-wook (striker), Lee Ho-joon (second base), and Information-geun (catcher).
Reyes' first designated hitter forward deployment seems to be aimed entirely at setting a new record for the most hits in a season. Reyes had 200 hits until the last game, becoming the first foreign hitter in the KBO League to hit 200 hits.
The record for the most hits in a single season in professional baseball history was 201 by Seo Geon-chang (then Nexen Heroes) in 2014. If Reyes has two or more hits on the day, a new history of professional baseball will be literally written.

Reyes swung a high-sensitivity fire bat with a batting average of 364 and an OPS of 0.933 for the month of September. However, in the last five games, he has a batting average of 291 (7 hits in 24 at-bats). In particular, he recorded one hit in the last two consecutive games, with only one hit against NC in Busan on the 27th.
The final NC selection for the season is veteran Lee Jae-hak. Reyes, a switch hitter, has a higher batting average and OPS against left-handers (385, 69 hits in 179 times at bat) than right-handers (335, 114 hits in 340 times at bat). On the other hand, although the number of samples is small, the batting average against under-row pitchers is only 340 (17 hits in 50 at-bats). Lee Jae-hak's opponent was also tied up to the point where he had no hits in five at-bats, struck out, and a double play.
NC will face Choi Jung-won (center fielder), Son Ah-seop (designated hitter), Park Min-woo (second base), Davison (first base), Kim Hwi-jip (striker), Seo Ho-cheol (third base), Kim Sung-wook (left fielder), Kim Hyung-joon (catcher), and Park Si-won (right fielder).
