One side of the 'Dream Match' has been decided. The other side will come out of the National League Championship Series (NLCS) on the 21st or 22nd.

The New York Yankees have advanced to the World Series for the first time in 15 years. In Game 5 of the American League Championship Series (ALCS) against the Cleveland Guardians at Progressive Field on the 20th, the Yankees won 5-2 with Juan Soto's three-run shot in the 10th inning of overtime.

The Yankees, who passed the ALCS with four wins and one loss in the series, will try to win their 28th career World Series in 15 years since 2009.

The champion of the National League (NL) is the LA Dodgers or the New York Mets. Game 6 of the NLCS between the two teams will be held at Dodger Stadium at 9:08 a.m. on the 21st. With three wins and two losses, the Dodgers can win a World Series ticket and face the Yankees if they catch one game. Special attention is being paid to whether a dream match will be made in 43 years since 1981.

The Yankees, who remained fourth in the AL East last year and were highly criticized for general manager Brian Cashman and manager Aaron Boone, have changed in a year thanks to the performances of the two superstars in the lineup.

It's Aaron Judge and Soto.

In the top of the 10th inning with two outs and runners on the first and second bases, Soto hit a three-run home run that easily crossed the right-center fence. After a persistent game of losing four fouls in a row from right-hander Hunter Gaddis at the ball count of 1B1S, he pulled a high four-seam fastball outside the 7th pitch and connected it to an arch over the right section from the middle fence. Soto's third home run of the postseason with a 37 degree firing angle, 109.7 miles batting speed and 402 feet flying distance.

Soto, who felt the home run as soon as the ball hit, roared toward the Yankees dugout on the first base when the ball hit the outfield seat. Yankees players kicked out of the dugout and enjoyed the joy.

However, the ALCS MVP was taken by Giancarlos Stanton. Stanton drew the mood by hitting a tiebreaking two-run home run in the top of the sixth inning, trailing 0-2.

Lead-off Gleyber Torres' left-handed hit and Juan Soto's heavy hit made it to first and second base. Judge hit a shortstop double play, worsening the situation to third base with two outs. However, Stanton drew an 82.6-mile slider from Cleveland starter Tanner Bybee, who was pitching scoreless, and connected it to a two-run arch over the left fence to tie the score at 2-2.

Stanton has a batting average of 0.222 (4 hits in 18 at-bats), four homers, seven RBIs, five runs scored, three walks and an OPS of 1.222 in five ALCS games. All four hits were home runs.

However, it is not wrong to say that Soto led the Yankees' momentum in the regular and post seasons.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone said "Let me be clear, Soto has had a tremendous season in terms of records. But the record came at its biggest and most important moment. It should not be taken for granted."

Boone said of Soto, who joined the Yankees this year and spent his first season, `He got along well with the people around him. I doubt the superstar will come and be a player and how he will perform, but he was one of the players. It was very nice to see. I didn't have to worry about him my way. He was good. My relationship with him was also very good. He was well integrated into one of our players"Soto admitted to making the team work harder.

The Associated Press responded, "'Soto not only looked good on the Yankees, but he also led the challenge.'" After today's game, Yankees fans shouted to renew the contract with Soto at the AL championship event. He said he is expected to sign more than $600 million, and today's home run would have made the price higher.

Yankees third baseman Jaz Chisom Jr. "I think the club should re-sign Soto. The final offer was $700 million (I think we should re-sign him, $700 miluon, final offer).
