Head coach Seo Jae-eung joined the New York Mets in the Major League through an international amateur free contract in 1997 while attending Inha University. Since then, he has played in big leagues such as the LA Dodgers and Tampa Bay Rays until the 2007 season, and joined Kia Tigers, his hometown team, as a player in 2007. He then announced his retirement after playing for KIA until 2015.

Seo Jae-eung, the head coach of the NC Dinos, said, `I am happy to be with baseball fans in Changwon. When I saw NC from the outside, there were many young players with potential and I thought it was a really good team. I think it's my role to bring the team together. I'll do my best in my role", he expressed his feelings.
Head coach Seo Jae-eung will join the team undergoing final training on the 25th and take a full-fledged step with coach Lee Ho-joon.
