SSG decided to hold a retirement ceremony in recognition of Kim Kang-min's hard work in his 23 years at the club and his contribution to winning five Korean Series titles.
Kim Kang-min's retirement ceremony schedule will be decided later.
Meanwhile, Kim joined the second round in 2001 and began his career, batting .274, 1,470 hits, 138 homers, 674 RBIs, 805 runs scored, and 209 stolen bases in 23 seasons with SSG.
