No one could laugh.

Gimpo FC and Suwon Samsung drew 0-0 in the 'Hana Bank K League 2 2024' match held at Gimpo Salter Football Stadium on the 27th. Both teams were desperate for victory. Coincidentally, the two teams recorded 13 wins, 10 draws and 10 losses (49 points) side by side in the previous 33 games. The rankings were divided in terms of multiple points. Suwon (42 goals) ranked sixth and Gimpo (41 goals) ranked seventh. Depending on the results of the match, the rankings of the two teams could have changed as much as possible. Above all, the gap with the fifth place, the last line of the promotion playoff (PO), was only one point. However, the two teams couldn't decide whether to win or lose in a tight 90-minute battle.

Gimpo utilized a 3-5-2 tactic. Lewis and Bruno came out as two-top players. Seo Jae-min Choi Jae-hoon, Plana, and Jang Yun-ho Ahn Jae-min coordinated their backs. Lee Yong-hyuk, Chapman, and Park Kyung-rok were in charge of defense. The goalkeeper's gloves were worn by Son Jung-hyun.



Suwon was a 4-3-3 formation. Park Seung-soo and Son Seok-yong led the attack with Kim Hyun at the center. Peter and Hong Won-jin and Lee Kyu-dong were in the second line. Lee Ki-je, Han Ho-gang Cho Yoon-sung and Lee Si-young were located in the four-back. Yang Hyung-mo defended the goal.

Kick-off. Suwon pushed hard. Peter, Son Seok-yong and Park Seung-soo tried to shoot one after another. Gimpo created a chance to attack with a counterattack. Louis, Plana took the lead in the attack. Both teams did not hesitate to fight wildly. But it wasn't finished. The first half ended 0-0.



Gimpo's attacks intensified at the beginning of the second half. Gimpo was disappointed that Plana's header shot bounced off the opponent's goal post in the 8th minute of the second half.

Gimpo took out the replacement card first. In the 16th minute of the second half, Zegal Jae-min was put in place of Bruno. The game got fiercer. Suwon's Son Suk-yong hit a left-footed shot, but failed to score due to the opponent's goalkeeper's save. Jang Yun-ho and Lewis shot in succession for Gimpo, but slightly missed the opponent's goal.



Suwon also took out replacement cars. Peter, Son Seok-yong was removed, and Kang Hyun-mook and Paulino were added. Gimpo created a series of chances to attack. However, both Plana's shot in a free kick situation and Zegal Jae-min's counterattack shot missed Suwon's goal. Suwon changed once again by adding Park Sang-hyuk instead of Park Seung-soo. Suwon failed to shake the opponent's goal in both Lee Ki-je in a free kick situation and Kim Hyun's shot in a corner kick situation.

Gimpo once again made a player change. Instead of a plana, shin min was added. Both teams were in a hurry. Eventually, an argument broke out on the ground. In the process of Suwon Hong Won-jin blocking Jegal Jae-min in Gimpo, a rough argument broke out between the two players.

There was nowhere else to back down. The two teams played the game at the same time. Suwon added Lee Jong-sung and Mulich instead of Hong Won-jin and Lee Gyu-dong. Gimpo put in Kim Min-ho's Jonghyun Lee without Lee Yong-hyuk and Seo Jae-min.

The extra time for the second half is five minutes. Suwon has launched a general offensive. But there was no score. The game ended 0-0. The players fell to the ground and swallowed their disappointment.
