'Paris Olympic Sports Science Achievements and Challenges' Olympic Park Telser Seminar on the 18th

The Korean Olympic Committee will hold the '2024 Sports Medicine and Science Seminar' at 9:30 a.m. on the 18th at the Olympic Parktel Olympia Hall in Seoul.
This sports medicine and science seminar will provide a venue for information exchange and communication for 250 people, including national leaders, medical and physical fitness trainers, and video analysis teams, full-time coaches of excellent athletes under national candidates, and students from sports universities and sports rehabilitation departments.
In particular, the seminar will share the achievements of 'Medi.Dat=Medical+Data' support at the Paris Olympics last summer and focus on an integrated approach to sports medicine and data analysis to support the best performance of the national team.
Prior to the Paris Olympics, "Medi-Dat" is a project designed to expand customized support for sports medicine data analysis to improve the health and performance of national athletes and to establish a network based on communication and collaboration with trainers for each event.
The Korean Olympic Committee has prepared a variety of topics, ranging from close support for the Paris Olympics preparation 'customized', to competitions and stadium on-site support. Under the theme of 「Composition and Role of the Composition of Compulsory Committee」 by Yoo Jae-chul, the senior vice president of the Korean Sports Medical Association, and Kim Won-jin, the bronze medalist in judo at the Paris Olympics, will give a keynote speech on"Health and Injury Management of National Team Athletes" followed by a seminar. The seminar, which will be divided into four sections, will consist of ▶ compulsory national support performance and development direction ▶ national conditioning support performance and development direction ▶ national psychological support performance and development direction ▶ special support performance and development direction for athletes' village, and will be conducted in the order of question and answer after experts and practitioners in each field give presentations.
In particular, in-depth discussions will be held on the injury management of athletes preparing for the Olympics and the role of national team doctors through the presentation of the topics of Yoo Jung-jin and Bae Jung-hyun, specialists, and Kim Jin-soo, director of Sejong Sports orthopedic clinic. In addition, Han Deok-hyun, a professor of psychiatry at Chung-Ang University Hospital, shares the progress of diagnosing and treating the psychological and psychiatric difficulties of athletes and leaders so that they can focus more on training and practice. In addition, a detailed presentation of cases that led to the improvement of performance will be followed by a topic that melts the experience of the Olympic field of video analysts, physical therapists, nutritionists, and athletes.
