Kang Min-ho of the Samsung Lions, who played in the first Korean series in 21 years, was excluded from the lineup.

Samsung manager Park Jin-man listed Kim Ji-chan (center fielder), Ryu Ji-hyuk (second baseman), Kim Heon-gon (left fielder), Diaz (first baseman), Kim Young-woong (third baseman), Park Byung-ho (designated hitter), Lee Jae-hyun (striker), Kim Hyun-joon (right fielder), and Lee Byung-hun (possessor) in the starting lineup for Game 5 of the 2024 Korean Series against the KIA Tigers at Kia Champions Field in Gwangju on the 28th. The starting pitcher is left-hander Lee Seung-hyun.

Kang Min-ho, who kept the lineup all the way until Game 4, was excluded.

Kang Min-ho, who made his professional debut with Lotte in 2004, played in the Korean Series for the first time this year. In four of the five playoff games against the LG Twins, he played the final shot in Game 5, leading the team to the Korean Series. However, he had only two hits in 13 at-bats in four games of the Korean Series, and failed to wake up the sense of hitting. Lee Byung-hun will fill Kang Min-ho's vacancy.
