Rio Ferdinand, a legendary Manchester United central defender, hurriedly changed the subject when the story of his former team came out.
Manchester United has been very sluggish recently, so there was nothing more good to say even if we talked more.
British media 'Mirror' pointed out on the 2nd (Korea time) that Ferdinand's six-word answer to Manchester United in coach Eric Tenhach's slump speaks volumes.
Ferdinand, a football expert, appeared on TNT's Champions League review program and was analyzing Manchester City's victory. But somehow the discussion shifted to Manchester United.
The Mirror was quick to get Ferdinand out of the discussion about Manchester United's slump. Manchester United legend Ferdinand said he asked the host to move on quickly when it was reported that his team was struggling early in the season.
The Mirror says: "'Manchester United have won just three of their nine matches this season. It's the worst start in the Premier League. He expressed concern that he had accumulated seven points in six games.
Ferdinand added "Manchester United have now played seven or eight games in the season. People began to question the director. I didn't know this would happen so soon. It is a matter of concern."
Another cast member, Jolion Lescott, pinched Manchester United even more acrimoniously.
Lescott said "Manchester United are unlikely to win the game. They are no longer the favourites. It is unprecedented for Manchester United. No matter what team they face, I think Manchester United may not be able to win three points. This is a worrying situation.'
Ferdinand quickly interjected as the host tried to continue his words here. Ferdinand says "Can I move on quickly?," he said, changing the subject.
Manchester United is waiting for the Europa League's FC Porto game during the week and the Premier League's Aston Villa game on the weekend. Coach Tenhach is likely to decide his future based on the results of the two games. British media predicted that if both games were lost, it would be tied to replacement.

British media 'Daily Star' reported that Manchester United is eyeing Simone Inzaghi and Gareth Southgate as replacements for Tenhach.
Van Nisteloui is a legendary Dutch striker who is familiar to domestic fans with 'Vanni'.
Van Nistelui made his debut with PSV Eindhoven in 1998 and moved to Manchester United in 2001. Van Nistelui played for Manchester United from 2001 to 2006. At the time, he reigned as the best striker in the Premier League with Arsenal's Thierry Henry. Van Nisteloui left for Real Madrid in 2006 and enjoyed his prime until 2010. While staying in Hamburg from 2010 to 2011, he also built a relationship with Son Heung-min (Tottenham). Afterwards, he retired in 2012 after serving in Malaga.
His former team Eindhoven began to take the leadership path. Starting as a coach for the under-17 team, he also served as a coach for the Dutch national team. After serving as Eindhoven's first-team coach, he was appointed as Manchester United's head coach in 2024.
Inzaghi is the director of Inter Milan. Southgate is an independent after stepping down as England manager after the end of Euro 2024 last summer.
The Daily Star said 'Tenhaq faced a crisis after suffering a crushing defeat at home to Tottenham last weekend. Owner Jim Ratcliffe is said to be pondering his future during the next A-match break. Manchester United will follow the match against Aston Villa after the Europa League match against Porto. Positive results are needed to prevent the team from stagnating'
