The KBO Power Reinforcement Committee said it called them up additionally in consideration of the progress of the Korean Series schedule, with Son Joo-young of the LG Twins on the existing call-up list failing to join due to an elbow injury. The three players joined the national team's training at Gocheok Sky Dome since the 24th.
The national team will play practice games with Cuba on the 1st and 2nd of next month and Sangmu on the 6th. Coach Ryu Joong-il will leave for Taiwan on November 8 after forming the final entry of 28 players through this training.
Kim Si-hoon had three wins, four losses and five holds and a 4.53 ERA in 107 ⅓ innings in 39 games this season. Since joining NC as the first draft pick of the 2018 rookie draft, he has been active until now.
Lee Kang-joon, who is serving in the military in Sangmu as a member of the Kiwoom Heroes, showed good performance this year with 3 wins, 1 loss, 8 holds and 11 saves in 47 ⅓ innings in 44 games in the Futures (2nd Army) League. Cho Min-seok recorded 10 wins, 1 loss, 2 holds and an ERA of 2.99 in 96 ⅓ innings in 24 Futures League games.
