Sports Promotion Corporation, '2024 Export Boom-up Korea WEEK' Export Contract worth USD 1 Million to Support Participation of Outstanding Sports Companies



The Seoul Olympic Memorial National Sports Promotion Foundation (Chairman Cho Hyun-jae) supported the participation of five excellent sports companies in the '2024 Export Boom-up Korea WEEK' to boost exports of sports companies.

Hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), the "2024 Export Boom-Up Korea WEEK" will be held for two weeks from the 16th, linking 20 industrial exhibitions and export consultations across the country, with 1,200 overseas buyers and 3,000 promising domestic exporters from 62 countries participating and 200,000 visitors.

In particular, the Sports Corporation selected five outstanding sports companies at the 「Boomup Korea Export Consultation」 held at KINTEX in Ilsan for two days from the 22nd to create a separate"K-Sports Center" for product exhibition and promotion.



Through this, Two Hands Interactive Co., Ltd., an IoT sports solution developer that developed an augmented reality indoor exercise platform (DIDIM) and others, signed an MOU worth $1 million with Taiwan's OnePath Education Co., Ltd. and succeeded in laying the groundwork for full-fledged overseas expansion.

In addition, the VR archery production and service support company 'Fibix', which participated in this exhibition, attracted great attention at the 2024 Paris Olympics, as it was reported that it played a major role in winning silver medals by supporting the French archery men's team.



"We will continue to cooperate with specialized organizations such as KOTRA to help domestic sports companies expand their overseas expansion in the future," said an official from the Korea Sports Corporation.

Meanwhile, the Korea Sports Corporation has provided customized programs such as business advancement and overseas market development of 60 companies through projects to foster leading companies in the domestic sports industry and support overseas expansion since 2018, and has continued to foster sports companies by supporting about 16.6 billion won this year.
