Following gamblers and statistical institutions, experts predicted the Dodgers' close advantage over the World Series between the LA Dodgers and the New York Yankees.

According to MLB.com 's survey of 50 reporters, analysts, and editors on the 24th (Korea time), 27 experts responded that the Dodgers will win, accounting for 54%. The Yankees won the championship with 23 players, 47 percent.

Director Doug Gaspol, who predicted the Dodgers win, said "Both teams' lineup is not getting tired. However, I think the Dodgers have a little more advantage in the depth."

Director Andrew Simon said "The Yankees beat Kansas City, ranked 20th in this year's team wRC+, and Cleveland, ranked 16th, before reaching the World Series. The Dodgers ranked No. 1 overall in this category with wRC+ 118, and are also No. 1 in the postseason with 122. They devastated the Mets mound in the NLCS. The Yankees' lineup is also powerful, but the Dodgers' offense will be superior in terms of the depth."

Journalist Ben Hill said `The Dodgers bullpen will offset the relatively weak starting lineup. Ohtani's strong batting lineup's onslaught is too strong for the Yankees to overcome.

On the other hand, those who predicted the Yankees to win "Juss was barely held out by pitchers in the Division Series and NLCS. I don't know if I can do that against the Yankees", The Dodgers offense was good at scoring in bulk and averaged more than seven points in the NLCS, but manager Dave Roberts ran a tired bullpen when he beat the Mets. The Yankees have a lot of weapons, so I don't think it's easy for the Dodgers to stop it well.'"The bullpen fight will continue throughout the World Series, but it will eventually be determined by how well the starting pitcher throws. I trust Cole more than any other pitcher in the Dodgers."

Earlier, sports betting companies also predicted the Dodgers' dominance. BetMGM presents dividends with Dodgers -130, Yankees +110, FanDuel with Dodgers -135, Yankees +115, and Caesars Sportsbook with Dodgers -130 and Yankees +110, respectively. FanGraphs, a website specializing in statistics, reported that the Dodgers have a 5 percentage point higher probability of winning the World Series with 52.5% of the Dodgers and 47.5% of the Yankees. However, the gap narrowed from 6.2% on the 22nd.

'How many games will this World Series last? The question ' showed 18 players in Game 7, 28 in Game 6, 3 in Game 5, and 1 in Game 4.

Juan Soto and Ohtani tied for first place with 10 votes as the `main character of the most home runs in the series,' followed by Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton with eight votes each. Mookie Betts had five votes and Max Muncy had four.

Series MVP was supported by 13 Soto, 11 Ohtani, 7 Betts, 5 Jersey, 4 Teoscar Hernandez, 3 Muncy, 2 each for Cole and Will Smith, and 1 for Jazz Chisom Jr. and Alex Verdugo and Austin Wells.

Responding to Soto's prediction of becoming MVP, reporter Jake Reel said, `Soto will be in the FA market with a two-time World Series champion and this series MVP qualification. Soto will have a chance again, and he will wear a pinstrip and quench the Yankees' thirst for victory."

Anthony Castrovins, who predicted Ohtani's MVP, said "Japan's population is about 124 million, and not a few of them will watch the World Series, where Ohtani plays as usual and meet a moment of glory. Ohtani won the Japan Series and the WBC. Now it's time to lead the World Series to the MVP position."

Ohtani experienced winning the Japan Series in 2016 when he was with the Nippon Ham Fighters, and in March 2023, he led the WBC to the MVP of the tournament. What's left is his ultimate goal, the world champion.
