Won Tae-in gave up a hit to leadoff hitter Lee Chang-jin in the top of the second inning, struck out Byun Woo-hyuk and Kim Tae-gun, respectively, and handled Park Chan-ho's straight hit directly. However, the total number of pitches increased sharply to 55, continuing the unstable trend.
In the end, KIA's lineup succeeded in pulling down Won Tae-in in the top of the third inning.
