KIA Tigers' Kim Tae-gun fired a grand slam. In Game 4 of the 2024 Korean Series against the Samsung Lions at Daegu Lions Park on the 26th, Kim Tae-gun fired a left-handed full base with two outs in the top of the third inning with his team leading 3-0.
While Samsung starter Won Tae-in gave up a walk to Lee Chang-jin with one out and runners on the first and second bases and went down the mound due to poor condition, the fire seemed to be extinguished as Byun Woo-hyuk ended up with a catcher foul fly to Song Eun-beom, who took the mound in relief. In the meantime, Kim Tae-gun's hit split the left air, and KIA succeeded in bringing all the runners home as the hit became a home run inside the pole.
As of the beginning of the third inning, KIA is leading 7-0 by a large margin.
