'Up grade, pay attention to the different WKBL'

The Korean Women's Basketball Federation (WKBL) raised expectations for the new season through colorful digital pictorials and opening videos involving a large number of league stars ahead of the opening of the 2024-2025 season.

On the 16th, WKBL released a digital pictorial and opening video announcing the upgraded 2024-2025 season with star players Kim Dan-bi (Woori Bank), Kim Son-ia (BNK Some), Kang Yi-seul (KB Stars), Jihyun Shin (Shinhan Bank), Lee Hae-ran (Samsung Life Insurance), and Jinan (Hana Bank) participating.

WKBL has set its new season slogan as 'UPGRADE'. This is the first slogan in the league to implement the Asian quarter system to increase the competitiveness of Korean women's professional basketball and to play basketball at a higher level.

In particular, in this pictorial and opening video, the 'City Edition uniform' worn by the players is attracting attention. WKBL produced a new uniform with a logo emphasizing the region's name based on the unique colors of the six clubs expressing the characteristics of each club's location. Through this, it is expected to attempt further strengthened local branding and marketing.
