Samsung chased Kim Hyun-joon with a timely hit in the sixth inning with one out and runners on the first and second bases, but KIA blocked Samsung's pursuit by mobilizing its powerful bullpen. After two outs in the ninth inning, Samsung chased one run with three consecutive hits against closer Jung Hae-young, confirming only hope for a rebound in hitting in Game 3 and 4.

Lee Joon-young (⅓ innings), Jang Hyun-sik (first ⅔ innings), Kwak Do-gyu (⅔ innings) and Jung Hae-young (first inning) kept the victory scoreless.
In the batting lineup, Kim Do-young made two RBIs and Choi Hyung-woo, Na Sung-bum, Kim Sun-bin and Lee Woo-sung coordinated the batting sense with multi-hits.
After Hwang Dong-jae collapsed in the first inning, Lee Seung-min and Song Eun-beom led the inning with one run in two innings each, and Lee Seung-hyun and Kim Yoon-soo held out without losing a point, but they moved to Daegu, their home ground, with two consecutive losses amid inefficiency that only scored three points even after 12 hits.
The hope for the recovery of the batters was that Ryu Ji-hyuk, who almost suffered a major injury in the defense process, got on base 100% with three hits, one walk, and two points.
On the 25th and 26th, Samsung will fight back in the series with Reyes One-Two Punch in Daegu's 3rd and 4th games.
