The Sports Industry Job Fair is the only sports industry job fair in Korea that has been held since 2011 to create jobs in the sports industry. Since this year, it has been expanded to twice a year in the first and second half of the year to strengthen job support for job seekers.
More than 40 companies in the sports industry will participate in the fair, which will be held at Olympic Park's Peace Plaza on the 8th, providing job information to job seekers as well as hiring on-site.
Many sports-related institutions and companies, including the Korea Sports Association, the Korea Sports Association, the Korea Football Association, Lotte Giants, Columbia Sportswear Korea, and Incheon United FC, will provide vivid job information such as mentoring through on-site booths, which is expected to be of practical help to job seekers.
In addition, there are various programs prepared, including job information sessions by Brion Sports Group and the Korea Racing Authority, and special lectures on sports administration by current workers such as Kia Tigers and Fila Holdings.
Details such as applications for advance participation can be found on the fair's website and Jobspoise.
An official from the Korea Sports Corporation said, `We hope that this fair will serve as a place for communication where companies seek out talented people and job seekers get information about the companies they want. We plan to promote various support projects to boost employment in the sports sector."
Meanwhile, this fair is being held online for two months from September to October at the sports industry exclusive hall of 'People', a portal site specializing in employment.
