The LA Dodgers are on the verge of advancing to the World Series. One win is enough.

The Dodgers beat the New York Mets 10-2 by hitting 12 hits in Game 4 of the National League Championship Series (NLCS) at New York City Field on the 18th (Korea time).

After finishing the first and second home games with one win and one loss, he will go to the away game and take the fourth game following the third gameJuss marks 3 wins and 1 loss in the series, and if he adds one win, he will be on the World Series stage for the first time in four years since 2020. The 162-game season will be the first in 36 years since 1988.

In the best-of-seven postseason series in history, a team with a 3-1 lead until Game 4 has won the series 79 times out of 93, with an 85% probability. The FanGraphs suggested that the Dodgers have a 91.9% chance of advancing to the World Series.

The Mets, who barely made it to the postseason by ranking third in the NL wild card, or sixth seed, were expected to be a formidable opponent to the Dodgers by reaching the NLCS by continuing their rise in the second half to the wild card series and division series. However, the Mets mound is devastated day after day due to the Dodgers' powerful firepower.

In four NLCS games, the Dodgers had a team batting average of 0.259 (36 hits in 139 at-bats), six home runs and 30 runs scored. On average, the Mets scored 7.5 points per game. On the other hand, they had a team batting average of 0.212 (28 hits in 132 times at bat), three homers and nine scores. Average of 2.25 points per game.

The Dodgers, who won Game 1 9-0, and Game 3 8-0, became the second team to win three games in the postseason series with eight or more points until Game 4. The New York Yankees of the 1960 World Series are the first examples of the record.

Shohei Ohtani is at the forefront of Dodgers' offense. Ohtani hit a solo home run in the top of the first inning, breaking the sickening silence of 22 at-bats in the absence of a runner in the postseason. He walked three and homered four times. It played its part as a leadoff. With this, Ohtani batted .286 (4 for 14) in four NLCS games, two homers, five RBIs, seven runs scored, seven walks, four strikeouts and an OPS of 1.238.

If the Dodgers win the NL championship, who should be the MVP of the series. For now, it seems to be a three-way race between Mookie Betts and Tommy Edman, including Ohtani.

Betts hit four hits and four RBIs, including a two-run homer. Betts is the third Dodgers player to set such a record in a single postseason game after Steve Garvey in Game 4 of the NLCS in 1974 and Chris Taylor in Game 5 of the NLCS in 2021. Betts is batting .333 (6 for 18) with one home run, seven RBIs, five runs scored and an OPS of 1.040 in four games. I think Betts should be the first contributor to the victory in Game 4.

Edman batted .412 (7 for 17), seven RBIs, three runs scored, and a .918 OPS in four games. Edman was used as the fourth batter when Freddie Freeman was absent and hit two hits, three RBIs and one run in six at-bats. In particular, he scored the winning run with a double to the left in the third inning with two outs and runners on the first and second bases, and hit a two-run double in the eighth inning to seal the victory.

Edman said after the game, `We are absolutely ridiculous. There are too many talented batters. He plays hard and has good resilience. In the second half, our offense was in a lull for a while, but it didn't last long. Regardless of how we feel, we are fighting fiercely.'

Third baseman Max Muncy drew attention by posting one hit and three walks in two at-bats, setting a record of 12 consecutive on-base hits, the most in a single postseason. Muncy also deserves to be mentioned as NLCS MVP.

Among the pitchers, Jack Fleherty, who became the winning pitcher with two hits and no runs in seven innings in the first game, stands out. If Fleherty throws a brilliant pitch in Game 5 on the 19th, he could be considered a candidate for NLCS MVP.

In the end, the player who made a brilliant contribution to the remaining one win is likely to become the series MVP.
