'25 Years of History Legend' Jung Dae-young to hold a retirement ceremony in Jangchung on the 10th

Women's volleyball legend Jung Dae-young's retirement ceremony will be held.

GS Caltex Seoul Kixx Volleyball Team will hold a retirement ceremony for Jung Dae-young, who announced his retirement from active duty after last season before a home game against Korea Expressway Corporation at Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul at 4 p.m.

After graduating from Yang Baek-sang in 1999, Chung made his senior volleyball debut with Hyundai Engineering & Construction, then an unemployed team. Jung Dae-young, who moved to GS Caltex in 2007 after the professional launch, played an active role as the team's flagship player and led him to two wins in the 2007-2008 season and the 2013-2014 season.

Jung Dae-young, who moved to Korea Expressway Corporation in 2014, contributed to two wins in the 2017-2018 season and the 2022-2023 season with his steady performance without ups and downs. Jung Dae-young, who returned to GS Caltex ahead of the 2023-2024 season, showed her responsibility as the eldest sister by playing as a role model for young players on and off the court, scoring 5653 points in 523 games and 1968 sets in 19 seasons of the V League.

Jung Dae-young said, `I would be happy if fans would give me a lot of encouragement and support in my new life in the future, and I hope you will always remember Jung Dae-young. I hope many fans come to Jangchung Gymnasium and join us," he said, expressing his feelings ahead of the retirement ceremony.

Before the full-fledged retirement ceremony, Jung Dae-young would like to express his gratitude to the fans who have been supporting him through a signing event. The retirement ceremony will be held before the start of the game, delivering uniform frames and photo albums commemorating his career, and the first pitch will be held. Kim Bo-min, a promising volleyball player who is a daughter, will join the first pitch to make it more meaningful.
