'5.2 billion full guarantee jackpot' Jang Hyun-sik officially greets LG fans and players on the weekend. Attendance with new colleagues on Love Giving Day
Jang Hyun-sik, who became an LG Twins man with a four-year, full guarantee of 5.2 billion won, meets LG fans five days after wearing a glossy jumper.

LG's annual 'Love Giving Day' is held on the weekend, where Jang Hyun-sik attends.

"Love Giving Day" is a charity event with fans and athletes that has been held since 2017, and is held every year to thank fans for their support over the past season and to practice love and sharing together.

The "2024 Love Giving Day" will be held at Jamsil Stadium on the 16th. Last year, when it won the championship, it was held on December 2nd at Kyung Hee University's Seoul Campus Peace Hall due to the weather, but this time it will be held in November, and the event will be held at Jamsil Stadium to be with many fans.

Twelve players from the 2025 rookie squad and 22 players, including Kim Hyun-soo, Park Hae-min, Oh Ji-hwan, Moon Sung-joo and Son Joo-young, will participate in the event to be with fans. There were 22 people in the original plan, but one person was added to it. It's Jang Hyun-sik.

Jang Hyun-sik signed a four-year contract with LG on the 11th for a total of 5.2 billion won (1.6 billion won in down payment and 3.6 billion won in annual salary). A native of Seoul High School, he joined the NC Dinos in the first ninth round in 2013, and was traded to KIA in the 2020 season and played a must-win role. Jang Hyun-sik, who was also the hold king with 34 holds in 2021, led the KIA Tigers to the regular league title with a good performance of 5 wins, 4 losses, 16 holds, and an ERA of 3.94, in 75 games this season, and in the Korean Series, he took the mound in the foreground until Game 5 and lifted the Korean Series trophy with one hold and zero ERA with stable pitching.

Jang Hyun-sik's stock price jumped as Kim Won-joong and Koo Seung-min remained at Lotte, and LG was able to become a winner in the competition by guaranteeing a total of 5.2 billion won. Jang Hyun-sik, a Seoul High School native, lived in Changwon and Gwangju for 12 years, but was able to play for his hometown team for the first time in 13 years.

LG eventually finished the season in third place to suffer in the bullpen this season, feeling the need to strengthen the bullpen, and participating in Jang Hyun-sik's scramble to win. Jang Hyun-sik will play in the must-win group with Kim Jin-sung and help prospects grow.

After completing the contract, Jang Hyun-sik thanked the LG Twins for giving him a good opportunity. Thank you so much to KIA and NC fans for your love and support"I will do my best to be loved by LG Twins fans in the future. I will also work hard to contribute to producing the best performance with the LG Twins' good seniors and juniors."

Fortunately, before the new year, I had the opportunity to have my first meeting with LG fans in a good mood.

The event runs from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. Before the main event, you can freely enjoy stamp mission programs and various auxiliary events with rookie players at the Jamsil Baseball Stadium ground. Starting with the opening performance at 2 o'clock, the event will feature recreation, talk concerts, rookie team performances, cheerleading performances and colorful fireworks with fans and participants, and the entire event will be concluded with signatures of the participants. All profits from the sale will be donated to local welfare organizations in Songpa-gu. In addition, for fans who cannot be with us in the field, '2024 Love Giving Day' will be broadcast live on the LG Twins YouTube channel.
