Amorim's Manchester United, Lil's 'Manchester United Youth MF' reintroduced 'Eyedog'

Britain's The Sun Bank reported on the 21st (Korea time) that Manchester United is interested in renewing the FA contract for Angel Gomes, a former Manchester United youth, next summer.
Gomes, who is 24 this year, debuted at the age of 16 years and 263 days against Crystal Palace in the English Premier League (EPL) in May 2017, becoming the fourth youngest player in Manchester United's history. Gomes, who joined Manchester United at the age of six and grew up at the Manchester United academy, left Manchester United in the summer of 2020 after playing only 10 games in all tournaments in the three years since his professional debut, before signing a five-year contract with French Ligue 1 Lille. For the next four and a half years, Gomes continued his brilliant performance at Lille. Gomes, whose contract with Lille expires at the end of this season, will be released as an FA.

The Lille club also acknowledges the possibility of missing Gomes as an FA. Gomes can contact the club from January to sign a prior contract. Manchester United are reportedly confident that Gomes, who grew up in Salford, can return to Manchester United as a long-term replacement for Casemiro, who is 32.
Tottenham and Arsenal are also interested in recruiting Gomes, but Gomes confessed in a recent interview that Manchester United is forever a team in his heart.
