Kim Min-sun won the bronze medal in the women's 500m first race Division A in Nagano, Japan, on the 22nd (Korea time), crossing the finish line in third place among 20 participants with a time of 37.93 seconds.
Kim Min-sun, who started the race on the out course of Group 4, passed the first 100m section with a time of 10.49 seconds, the fourth place overall, before speeding up to finish third. Following the women's 500-meter race at the 2024 ISU Four Continents Championships, she won the bronze medal for the second consecutive time, showing off her solid performance. Lee Na-hyun (Korea National University), who competed in the women's 500m alongside Kim Min-sun, ranked 17th with a time of 38.59 seconds. In the men's 500m first race Division A, Kim Joon-ho (Gangwon Provincial Office) ranked fifth among 20 participants with a time of 34.63 seconds. Kim Min-sun will challenge for a multi-medal medal in the second 500m race on the 24th, the last day of the competition.
