Seoul E-Land FC, which had the 'best season ever', succeeded in advancing to the playoffs for the first time in nine years since 2015.
E-Land ranked third in the 2024 K League 2 regular league with 17 wins, 7 draws and 12 losses and 58 points. Seventeen wins are also the tie record for the most wins for a team in a season, which was recorded in 2016.
Eland, who showed explosive attack throughout the season, scored 62 goals to rank No. 1 in the league. The difference between gains and losses also topped the league with +17.
Coach Kim Do-kyun said after the final game of the regular league, "We finished third this year, but I think the whole team needs to study and learn a lot." I thought I should develop it more and more, and I will prepare well for the playoffs with a stronger mentality."
Meanwhile, E-Land has also written a new record for spectators for the season thanks to various 10th anniversary marketing activities and enthusiastic support from home fans. A total of 7,913 spectators entered Mokdong Stadium on the 9th, when the last home game of the 10th anniversary of the regular league was held. It is the third-highest attendance record this season.
