Pohang Steelers started cleaning up the East Coast during the league break.

On the 19th, Pohang conducted beach coming (the act of collecting sea drift or garbage as if brushing the beach) volunteer work on Yonghan-ri Beach.

Pohang coach Park Tae-ha and other coaching staff and club executives attended the event. In addition, more than 100 people from various organizations, including Pohang Maritime Police Station and Pohang City Hall, joined to add meaning.

Pohang coaching staff and executives and employees conducted beach purification activities for about an hour and a half. I sweated to protect the clean beaches on the east coast while picking up coastal waste and trash.

Through this volunteer activity, we have created an opportunity to promote the importance of marine protection and the sense of marine environmental preservation.

Coach Park Tae-ha said, `I never thought much about the seriousness of garbage when I took a walk on the beach, but when I volunteered today, it touched my skin.' `As a club based in a maritime city, our Pohang Steelers will continue to pay attention to maritime issues and participate with the players next time.'

Meanwhile, Pohang will leave for Gangneung Stadium at 2 p.m. on the 23rd after the A-match break for Hana Bank in the 38th round of K League 1 2024.
