KIA announced on the 3rd that it will recruit Kim Joo-chan and Kim Min-woo as coaches. Coach Kim Joo-chan retired from KIA after the 2020 season and began his leadership the following year. This year, he served as Lotte's batting coach. Coach Kim Min-woo has been a leader at KIA from 2017 to 2022.
Coach Kim Joo-chan and Kim Min-woo are in charge of bench coaches and first-team defense coaches, respectively. Bench coach Kim Joo-chan will assist the coach and provide various advice on the coach's game management based on data during the season.
KIA said 'We plan to confirm the reorganization of the coaching staff position for next season later'
