KBO will hold the 5th and 6th '2024 KBO Next-Level Training Camp'.

KBO will hold this camp in Boeun-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do, and provide guidance to a total of 70 outstanding players under the age of 17 (U-17).

The 5th camp will be held for 35 outstanding players in the northern region from the 4th to the 10th, and the 6th camp will be held for 35 outstanding players in the southern region from the 11th to the 17th, respectively.



In this camp, head coach Kim Yong-dal will oversee the team, and coaching staff from the KBO league, including hitting coach Lee Young-woo, Yoon Hak-gil, pitching coach Jeong Jae-bok, battery coach Lee Sung-woo, Jang Won-jin, and defensive coach Lim Soo-min, will guide players based on their know-how accumulated through long professional experience.

KBO will use advanced equipment such as K-Vest, Swing Catalyst, Blast Motion, and Up-Lift to analyze kinematic sequences, center movements, swing trajectories, and 3D movements, and also measure tracking data of hits and pitches through Rapsodo.

In addition, a professional trainer measures physical data for players' physical ability development and then presents a personalized training method that analyzes it. In addition, education on injury prevention will be provided for the healthy growth of youth players, and education on prevention of irregularities will also be conducted to cultivate basic skills that must be equipped as members of this society before becoming a baseball player.

The camp, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation, will provide buses for all training facilities and athletes, including baseball stadiums, indoor baseball practice ranges, and indoor gyms, while Dong-A Otsuka will enhance players' understanding of sports science and provide water and pocari sweat for rehydration through the education of the Youth Self-conditioning Program.
