SSG Landers and Korean Air Jumbos have made joint donations for children in Incheon.

SSG and Korean Air delivered joint donations to the Incheon Community Chest of Korea ahead of the home game at Gyeyang Gymnasium in Incheon on the 21st.

Since 2021, Korean Air and SSG have been holding joint donation events for underprivileged children in Incheon, the home of both clubs. Once a year, each other has been invited to the home stadium to hold events and donation delivery ceremonies.

Donations will be set aside 20,000 won per strikeout by SSG pitchers (based on home games), 100,000 won per serve ace by Korean Air players, and will be supported by basic living expenses and education expenses for underprivileged children in Incheon.

On June 13, a donation of 11.26 million won was delivered at SSG Landers Field in Incheon. Since then, Korean Air has accumulated 2.9 million won for 29 serve aces and SSG has accumulated 7.18 million won for 359 strikeouts. The total fundraising amount of 1.08 million won will be delivered to the Incheon Community Chest of Korea and used for basic living and education expenses for underprivileged children in Incheon.

SSG pitcher Han Doo-sol participated in the first pitch of this 'Landers Day'. Han Doo-sol said, `I'm happy that the two Incheon-based clubs have continued such meaningful activities for four years together. Thanks to the fans' support, it seems that more strikeouts and sub-aces were recorded and those records were delivered as donations. It is an honor to attend such a meaningful event as a representative of the team and deliver the donation directly, and I will try to help more children benefit from it in the future" He expressed his feelings.

Korean Air captain Han said, `I know the importance of each game and every point to win, but the serve ace at home games seems to be more valuable as it accumulates donations. All the players will do their best on every serve and pay back the rest of the season with good results" said the words.
