'Genius Shortstop'Kim Jae-ho (39) marks the end of his 21-year professional career 'Doosan Bears One Clubman'.

Kim Jae-ho recently announced his intention to retire from the club.

Kim Jae-ho, who wore Doosan's uniform as the first nomination in 2004, jumped to the starting lineup in 2014 and played a leading role in three wins (2015, 2016 and 2019).

Kim Jae-ho was honored for the second consecutive year in the KBO Golden Glove shortstop category from 2015 to 2016 based on his unique wide defense range, smart play, and overwhelming throwing ability. He also won the gold medal at the 2015 WBSC Premier 12 with the national flag. His professional record is 272 batting average (1,235 hits in 4,534 times at bat), 54 homers and 600 RBIs in 1,793 games in 21 seasons.

He always stayed silent on the ground, but the rings he drew without a break for 21 years were piled up splendidly. Kim Jae-ho's 1,793-game trip is the most by a Bears franchise in history (No. 2 Ahn Kyung-hyun, 1716 games).

In addition, every history of Doosan's shortstop has Kim Jae-ho's name. Kim Jae-ho ranks first in the Bears franchise in most records, including hits, RBIs and home runs based on shortstop business trips. Despite his more than 10 years of experience in the Futures League (second division), he is still considered a role model for many junior players by securing the starting position with his unique consistency and sincerity.

Kim Jae-ho thanked Doosan Group Chairman Park Jung-won for allowing him to retire as a one-club man```````````. I will continue to live as a person who has a good influence on the development of baseball."

It took a long time to bloom, but Doosan Bears fans trusted and cheered for me until the end. As a result, I was able to finish my 21 years of active career well. We sincerely thank you." Finally, `The faces of the junior players come to mind one by one. Although I take off my uniform, I will always be with Doosan Bears in my heart. I will continue to cheer for you passionately in the future."

Meanwhile, Doosan plans to hold a grand retirement ceremony for Kim Jae-ho during the 2025 season.
