Manchester City announced the renewal of its contract with Guardiola on its official website on the 22nd (Korea time).

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City remained loyal without contacting any leaders, including Leverkusen coach Xavi Alonso and current Manchester United coach Ruben Amorim, who were rumored even when Guardiola flashed a farewell signal.

Guardiola has given Manchester City 18 trophies so far, including six English Premier League wins, one European Champions League victory, two FA Cup wins, three EFL Cup wins, one FIFA Club World Cup victory and one European Super Cup victory, including the club's first treble in the 2022-2023 season.
