Global sports brand Under Armour hosts 'UANEXT 2024' domestic elite basketball prospect camp

'UA NEXT' is a global program that selects youth players from around the world with the highest potential and helps them grow into better players through Under Armour.
Following the successful hosting of 'UA NEXT: CAMP SERIES KOREA' last year, 'UA NEXT 2024' will be held again this year to continue discovering and supporting elite basketball players. It will be held at Yonsei University Gymnasium for two days from the 16th.
'UA NEXT 2024' selects 21 elite first-year high school basketball players nationwide and offers a variety of programs to improve players' performance, from basketball skill training to mental training and conditioning methods.
On the first day of the 16th, ▶Profile shooting ▶UANEXT and Under Armour brands will be introduced. As a full-fledged training session program, ▶ Basketball Combine ▶ Skill Training will be conducted. The basketball combine session will feature tests such as vertical jumps, 20m sprints, and lane agility to evaluate the strength, jumping ability, speed, and agility of the participants.
In addition, accurate exercise ability will be evaluated by measuring physical details such as height, weight, wingspan, and reach. After that, they will learn how to warm up and recover that professional athletes actually use in training and in practice with professional trainers.
On the second day, ▶ pick-up game ▶ Curry Challenge ▶ Judge Evaluation ▶ Award Ceremony is prepared. In the pickup game session, participants will team up to play the actual game and perform their own performances,
There will also be a Curry Challenge match in which shots can be thrown for 100 seconds at 20 spots in order from 1 to 20, and shots must be successful to move to the next spot.
Finally, a total evaluation of 21 participating players will be conducted. The judges consist of basketball experts from various categories, including KBL, WKBL commentators, and basketball media reporters.
As a result of the judges' evaluation, the top five will be supported with underarmour products and will provide special benefits to participate in the UANEXT CHINA in China in December.
