Hyundai Steel announced on the 5th that it will openly hire a new coach for the women's soccer team.
Hyundai Steel achieved an integrated 11 consecutive wins under coach Kim Eun-sook last year, but ended the season early without a postseason as it failed to advance to the playoffs by ranking fourth in the WK League this season.
Head coach Kim Eun-sook resigned ahead of the new season to foster and change the younger generation, and as a result, Hyundai Steel has also begun hiring new coaches to renovate the team.
The qualification for coach application is a person who has a soccer leader's certificate of A or higher and has a total of three years or more of coaching experience in high school, professional, unemployment, and national teams.
After receiving the documents by the 11th, the second interview, presentation, and in-depth interview, the third final interview, will be completed in December for successful candidates. In the presentation interview, the applicant's soccer philosophy, understanding of women's soccer and the club, and the direction of development of the Hyundai Steel soccer team will be evaluated as key points. A Hyundai Steel official said, `We want a person who has a good understanding of women's soccer and has leadership that can closely grasp the strengths and weaknesses of the players and lead them to the best possible performance.' The recruitment notice for Hyundai Steel's Red Angels manager can be found on the Red Angels website.
