Hanwha Eagles once again worked on organizing the team.

On the 1st, Hanwha announced five players who cannot renew their contracts. Pitcher Oh Se-hoon Shin Ji-hoo Cho Eun Song Sung-hoon and infielder Kim Min-ki were the target players.

It was a list that included the primary nomination. After graduating from Daejeon Yucheonjo-Chungnam Middle School-Bukil High School, Shin Ji-hoo was nominated by Hanwha as the first nomination in 2020. Shin Ji-hoo, who is also the son of former Hanwha coach Shin Kyung-hyun, was highly anticipated when he joined the team, throwing up to 150 kilometers of fastballs.

Beyond 'Baseballer II', he became 'Eagles father and son', but Shin Ji-hoo did not see the light in Hanwha. In 2021, he pitched in the first team and allowed one strikeout and two runs (non-earned) in two ⅓ innings, and there has been no first-team appearance since then.

This season, he did not play in the Futures League as well as the first team.

Oh Se-hoon (25) joined Doosan as a nurturing player in 2021 and has played for Hanwha since 2022. This season, he pitched 34 ⅔ innings in 30 games in the Futures League with two wins, no losses, and a 6.23 ERA with five holds.

Cho Eun (23), who was a relatively high-ranking third-round pick in the second round of the 2021 rookie draft (22nd overall), also failed to avoid a release blade. This season, he played in five games in the Futures League, losing one and posting an 11.70 ERA.

Song Sung-hoon (20) is in his second year of joining the rookie draft in 2023 in the seventh round (61st overall), and he played in four Futures League games this season, recording one loss and an ERA of 5.79.

Kim Min-ki (25), the only fielder's release, joined the second round of the rookie draft in 2018 (ranked 64th overall) and appeared in 91 games in the Futures League this year, recording a batting average of 261, one home run, 28 RBIs and seven steals.

Hanwha released a total of seven players in early October, just before the end of the season. Pitcher Jung Woo-ram, who announced his intention to retire, outfielder Kim Kang-min and Lee Myung-ki, as well as pitcher Lee Seung-kwan, catcher Lee Jae-yong and outfielder Kim Sun-dong, were eligible for release.

Along with organizing the team, the coaching staff is also reorganizing. After the end of the season, first-team batting coach Kim Min-ho was appointed, and coach Kang Dong-woo expressed his resignation. In addition, he hired Kazunari Tsuroka as the second-tier battery coach, and did not renew contracts with Myoung Futures pitching coach and battery coach Lee Hee-geun.

Meanwhile, Hanwha has been holding a finishing camp in Miyazaki, Japan since the 31st of last month. Led by head coach Kim Kyung-moon, a large camp was set up with 47 players, including 20 pitchers, six catchers, 13 infielders and eight outfielders.

Five rookies, including Jung Woo-joo, Kwon Min-gyu, Bae Seung-soo, Lee Ji-sung and Lee Seung-hyun, will also join the team, and the first-team coaches will direct them.

Director Kim said, `We need to make detailed preparations to make up for the parts that need to be supplemented and to fill in the parts that are lacking. Through that, we can become a strong team only when we create our own strengths"I will prepare well for the team and show good results to the fans next season."He expressed his camp's determination.
