"I've got two gunmen" Veteran Serbian Tadic recalls a fight with a robber, revealed by an active soccer star

On the 22nd (Korea time), British media 'Daily Star' introduced the story of 36-year-old attacking midfielder Dushan Tadic, who played for Southampton in the English Premier League (EPL).
Serbian-born Tadic played for Southampton between 2014 and 2018, has since played for Ajax (the Netherlands) and has been playing as a main midfielder for Turkiye Fenerbahce since 2023. He is also showing off his old age by playing as a key player in his native Serbia national team.
In an interview with the Daily Star, where he recently celebrated his 36th birthday, he recalled a dizzying memory two years ago. One night in 2022, when I was playing for Ajax, I was attacked by two robbers armed with pistols while returning home from a dinner appointment with a friend at a restaurant near my house.

Tadic said "I moved from side to side first, taking them apart a little, and hit the man who seemed to be the leader first of the two. The other grabbed my neck behind me, but I hit back with my elbow"If I had looked back at that time, things might have been very different (because of the opponent with the gun). But at that moment, I fought furiously, full of adrenaline," he said.
At the time, the robbers were said to have owned three guns. But at that moment, Tadic never felt intimidated and responded proudly. "I was born in Serbia, and I grew up fighting a lot in my childhood," Tadic explained, "is the hidden power to respond without fear.
After a fierce fight, the robbers ran away, and Tadic had a minor injury to his finger and played with a bandaid a few days later.
Tadic says "This kind of event happens too often. It's not just about soccer players. If people continue to feel unsafe, they will leave the area where they live"I hope these crimes will stop," he said.
