On the 29th, the Hana Bank K League 2024 Awards Ceremony was held at the Swiss Grand Hotel in Hongeun-dong, Seoul. The winner of the Best 11 Goalkeepers category was Cho Hyun-woo. Cho Hyun-woo received nine votes for the coach, 10 for the captain, and 105 for the media. He scored an overwhelming 83.71 points. He far surpassed Kim Joon-hong (8.19) of Jeonbuk and Lee Chang-geun (8.10) of Daejeon.
With this award, Cho Hyun-woo has written a milestone of winning the K League 1 Best 11 Goalkeeper category for the eighth consecutive time since the 2017 season. If the scope is expanded to K League 2 (2015, 2016 season), it will be the 10th consecutive award.
Cho Hyun-woo played in the game this season and gave up only 40 goals. He recorded a whopping 14 clean sheets. The round MVP was also selected twice and the round best 11 was selected 11 times. Throughout this season, he defended Ulsan's goal with stable saves and contributed to his third consecutive league victory.
